FEATURING LOCAL ART & FURNITURE

Twenty three local makers provided over 90 commissioned pieces including 21 custom murals, 3 pieces of sculptural furniture and one framed portrait with taxidermy turkeys. As part of Rafter’s commitment to collaborating and celebrating local makers, Rafter’s Artist in Residence Program sought out local artist partners to create art for the project in exchange for 12 months of free housing at Rafter. Each individual makers' contribution combined to create an extraordinary building.

As part of Rafter’s commitment to collaborating with local makers, the Artist in Residence program sought out local artist partners to create art for the project in exchange for 12 months of free housing at Rafter. Barret Lee and Christian Hastad were selected from dozens of applicants to provide artwork for the corridors and lobby. Rafter is proud to support these two talented voices and cement them into the Northeast artistic landscape.
